We operate on a direct-supply model. Orders are sourced and fulfilled by Shadowspec from New Zealand, shipped directly to the Malaysian buyer. At the moment we do not hold warehouse stock locally.
Lead times
For quick-ship canopy colours (Oyster, Alpine Stone, Charcoal Tweed, Black), lead times are shorter than for special-order colourways. Confirm current lead times with us at the time of enquiry, as they vary by configuration and production schedule. Usually it will take less than 3 weeks to deliver on site, from the date of order confirmation.
For commercial and resort projects with a fixed installation date, we recommend initiating the purchase process at least 8 weeks before the required on-site date. This allows for production, quality control, freight from New Zealand, Malaysian customs clearance, and installation scheduling.
Delivery and installation
Umbrello Malaysia arranges delivery to site across Peninsular Malaysia. East Malaysia (Sabah and Sarawak) is served with additional freight.
On-site installation, including base anchoring and slab fixings, is coordinated by the buyer's appointed contractor. We provide installation documentation and work directly with contractors and structural engineers where the installation requires coordination.
After-sales support
Warranty claims and canopy replacement enquiries are handled through Umbrello Malaysia. Where a warranty matter requires escalation to the manufacturer, we will liaise with Shadowspec on your behalf.
