Shadowspec Retreat™ solves this by mounting to brick, concrete or solid timber, using the wall itself instead of ground weight for stability.

Three movements, one umbrella

The Retreat™ rotates, tilts and extends.

Rotation lets the canopy track the sun across a balcony throughout the day. SHADOWTILT™ drops the canopy angle for low, late-afternoon sun, common on west-facing Malaysian units. SHADOWREACH™ pushes the canopy further from the wall when you need reach without intruding on a window or doorway below.

Marine-grade, not balcony grade

The Retreat™ is built from the same anodised aluminium and 316 stainless steel as Shadowspec's larger commercial ranges, not a lighter-duty balcony product.

The solution-dyed canopy fabric resists oil, staining, chlorine and fading, which matters directly for units near a pool or a kitchen exhaust vent.
