The Portable Base is the most versatile mounting option in the Shadowspec range - a portable, self-contained solution that requires no drilling, no concrete, and no structural modification to your outdoor space. The base is ballasted with concrete paving stones (not included) to keep it firmly anchored and can optionally be upgraded with heavy-duty stainless steel castor wheels for even greater mobility.
Compatible with the Shadowspec Serenity™, Unity™, SU4, and SU10, it adds approximately 165mm of height to the installation and is built from galvanised steel with an aluminium cover - the same rigorous material standard that runs through every Shadowspec product.
For homeowners in Malaysian condominiums, serviced residences, and landed properties where ground penetration is restricted or impractical, the Portable Base is the natural starting point. It gives you the freedom to reposition your umbrella as the sun moves, rearrange your outdoor space for different occasions, and even relocate the setup entirely if you move home - without leaving a trace.
